Usages of the particle ‘て’.

Applies to group 2 verbs.

To make a verb a direct command (instruction “do this!”) replace the 「る」 suffix with 「て」.

2. Example

The word 「みる」 (to watch, to see) becomes 「みて」 (see! watch that!　please — look!).

The word 「おきる」 (to wake up) becomes 「みて」 (wake up!).
